“Silent” and “listen” are spelled with the same letters. I’m sure that this isn’t a fluke…
This week’s Happy Challenge is to “listen” for happiness.
First, listen to yourself. What is your body telling you? What is your heart and soul telling you? Sometimes we’re torn about what to do next, or about what our purpose in life is. Most people tend to look outside for answers instead of looking within. Remember, happiness stars within. So make yourself your own best friend and listen to what you have to say. 🙂
Speaking of friends…
The second part of the challenge this week is to listen to others. Maybe it’s a friend or a coworker. Maybe it’s a complete stranger. Maybe it’s your kids or spouse. Regardless of who, listen intently. Listen with compassion and empathy. Listen. You will be amazed at the kind of connection you’ll make on a much deeper level with these people.
